Located in the heart of downtown Jeffrey’s Bay, the SPCA Assisi Charity Shop has been operational for just over 8 years – 4 under current management.

While the previous iteration has always been there for the community – taking donations to generate much-needed funds for Animal Welfare – it’s only recently under the helm of new, dynamic, loving team that this humble little store has really begun to thrive, far exceeding any previous expectations in the field of Non-Profit Organizations!  

With an emphasis on a welcoming, enjoyable, informative and friendly shopping experience, you can expect a wide-range of ‘pre-loved’ treasures ranging from clothes and ornaments, to electronics, jewelry, knick-knacks, kitchenware and cookware…a proverbial “Aladdin’s Cave” just ripe for exploration in a colourful, inviting, clutter-free environment. 

With affordable, negotiable pricing not found anywhere else, and an ever-changing inventory that is literally “different every day“, get ready to experience a one-of-a-kind shopping experience safe in the knowledge that every cent spent is helping in giving a voice to the voiceless.

The generous donations we receive from the public on a daily basis have truly been the life-blood to the successes of this enterprise.

Not only has the volume of incoming goods increased exponentially over recent years, but the quality too!

…it never ceases to amaze this Team how selfless, caring and giving some of our clientele can be to this most dearest of causes – without which, we would truly be nothing. 

Every incoming donation, regardless of size or quality, is appreciated! 

Once sorted, we assess and accordingly price every item to either be placed for re-purchase on our sales floor, or subsequently ‘passed on’ to various other organizations and charities with whom we have close business relations with.

Aside from offering only the best quality-for-value donations to our customers, the SPCA Assisi Charity Shop also has daily Online Auctions!

Running everyday from Monday to Friday, we post our favourite picks from the high-end incoming donations, giving any potentially interested Facebook users the chance to interact and place their bids!

We start by posting a special picture for each item with a minimum asking price. From there, it’s entirely up to the public to decide how much they would like to offer for the item, how high in offers they’re willing to go, and when to bow out of the auction.

The highest offer after a 24-hour period gets the goods, usually at a far lower nomination than market value!

 Mondays to Fridays: 08h30 – 6h00;

 Saturdays:                09h00 – 12h00.
