Key responsibilities include:
- Animal Care: Overseeing feeding, health monitoring, enrichment, and behavioural assessments of dogs
- Staff Management: Supervising, training, and developing kennel staff to maintain high welfare and hygiene standards
- Adoptions: Managing adoptions, matching dogs to suitable homes, and overseeing the adoption process
- Operations: Maintaining kennel facilities, managing stock control, and ensuring compliance with animal welfare legislation
- Communication: Collaborating with other departments, such as Clinic, Inspectorate; and Fundraising, and promoting dogs on social media and the website
