Sara joined our committee in February 2024, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for animal welfare. Before relocating to Jbay, Sara volunteered extensively with TEARS (The Emma Animal Rescue Society) in Cape Town. Her hands-on work included dog walking and training, teaching puppies essential skills, and assisting with kennel maintenance. Sara also contributed to TEARS’ fundraising efforts, including Sleep-a-thons and marketing initiatives.
Her dedication to animal care extends beyond Cape Town. In Johannesburg, Sara volunteered with the SPCA, working with their mobile clinic in Hout Bay, and even helped care for cart horses in Soweto. With her vast experience and commitment, Sara is a valuable addition to our committee
